MEET DEVIN

Devin has lived in Melrose’s Ward 7 for the last decade with his wife, Abbie, his children, Jack, Ellie, & Charlie, and his dog, Bruce. Devin is the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships at FUSE Corps, a local government nonprofit, where he creates new programs in cities across the country, including Boston, Austin, Atlanta, Houston, Kansas City, New Orleans, and New York City. These initiatives have drawn on the most innovative city government practices related to economic development, mobility, health, resilience, housing, and infrastructure, and Devin has helped these municipalities raise and procure tens of millions of dollars to better serve their residents.

Before joining FUSE, Devin served as the associate director for the Harvard Kennedy School's Project on Municipal Innovation. He managed a network of Mayoral Chiefs of Staff from the 45 largest cities in the country, for whom Devin led biannual policy summits to share innovative municipal best practices. Prior to HKS, Devin worked on Beacon Hill as the director of government relations for the National Association of Social Workers in Massachusetts, where he advocated for child welfare safety and spending, higher worker wages, and increased behavioral health access. He holds a master’s degree in public policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Trinity College in Hartford.


In addition to his extensive background in public policy and local government, Devin in an entrepreneur, having co-founded a zero proof cocktail company with his wife, Abbie, who currently serves as the CEO. In his personal time, Devin can be seen jogging all over Melrose, playing with his kids at the Common playground, baking, and disc golfing.
